| St. Lucia Beaches |
Most of St. Lucia’s beaches are on the west side of the island and all are open to the public. Whether you’re looking for resort amenities, water sports or quiet seclusion, there is a beach for everyone in St. Lucia.
With magnificent white sand beaches and a lush landscape, St. Lucia is fast becoming one of the most popular vacation spots in the Caribbean -- yet the island is still unspoiled by tourism. The southern half of St. Lucia is a protected forest reserve that is home to some excellent hiking trails. But most visitors come to St. Lucia for the beaches and it's easy to understand why. Palm-lined beaches open onto crystal clear turquoise water that is perfect for diving, swimming and snorkeling and the sun pours down on the island all year. |
Ans Becune Beach
The Villa Gina is only steps away from the lovely Ans Becune beach, a beautiful, tranquil oasis perfect for swimming, snorkeling, scubadiving, or just relaxing.
Villa guests can also enjoy all the acquatic amenities offered by a local resort that shares access to the Ans Becune beach.

Reduit Beach
Reduit beach is one of the island’s best, a long, sheltered stretch of golden sand located in Rodney bay on the northwest tip of the island. It is in the main tourist area, so expect lots of tourists and many restaurants and bars. The northern part of the beach leading to Pigeon Island is quieter and preferred by locals. |
 |
Pigeon Point Beach
There is a small beach located within Pigeon Island National Historic Park. There is a restaurant that serves snacks and drinks, but this is a perfect beach for a relaxing day of swimming and picnicking. |
 |
Anse Chastanet Beach
Located just north of the city of Soufrière is a palm-studded dark-sand beach. The beach has a backdrop of lush green hills and has one of the island's best reefs for snorkeling and diving. |
 |
Anse Cochon Beach
This is the island’s black-sand beach and can be reached only by boat or via Ti Kaye Village's mile-long access road. The adjacent reef is superb for swimming, diving, and snorkeling. |
