A year ago I decided to look for a villa St Lucia and after multiple research I had decided on Villa Gina and emailed the owner and reserved a week in February 2011. From the moment we (my husband, my brother and sister-in-law) arrived at Villa Gina we knew this was an excellent choice for our vacation. Cosmos and Gina took us out the first night to the street dance in Gros Islet and we had a great time. The view from Villa Gina is incredible, the villa is very clean and spacious, five bedrooms. The pool is just the right size and you can BBQ there. We didn't do the AC, we wanted to hear the waves and get the sea breeze coming through the windows. You can come and go as you like not like the hotels. The staff Christopher and Merlin were very friendly. Merlin is so sweet, she will do anything for you. If you ever go there you will not regret it, we hope we can return one day. The villa is only 20 minutes brisk walking to Pigeon Island which was also magnificent to sit and watch the waves coming in. Cosmos and Gina have become our friends for life. Thank you again for a marvelous vacation.

We vacation with 2 other couples yearly. We found that the Villa Gina was exactly as described & shown in the pictures on the VRBO site. The house was well furnished & met our every need. Cosmas, Gina, Merlin & Chris were awesome!!! Cosmas was available 24/7 if we needed him & was very helpful in suggesting activities. He showed us parts of the island you can't see on a tour. He took us to the BodyHoliday LeSport resort & I would recommend this location if you are looking for a relaxing spot to unwind. This vacation was probably the best I've ever had. It was truely amazing. Thank you to all my Villa Gina friends!!!! We will be seeing you again!

Our St Lucia Honeymoon at Villa Gina

We visited St Lucia to celebrate our honeymoon on August 28th, 2010. Being experienced travellers we prefer to stay away from the herding experience of all inclusive hotel and booked Villa Gina offering everything we needed and more. The Villa is a short jeep ride from Rodney Bay that offers groceries, dining and nightlife. Taking advice from our Hosts Cosmas and Gina we opted for a prearranged taxi ride along the east coast to the Villa. We stopped for a Piton Beer at a roadside cafe at Dennery and then continued our one hour trip to the North end of the island. It was nice to sit back and enjoy the scenery after the 5 hour flight from Toronto. The only road that we found needing some TLC was the Cap Estate Villa roads in and around the estate homes. A jeep is highly recommended. We arrived at the Villa shortly before night fall and unpacked and fell instantly in love with the Villa. It was everything we expected and more. The pictures accurately reflect the Villa’s interior and surrounding area. We were wise to pre-order a small breakfast package for the first morning which saved some running around on our first night. Cosmas drove us into Rodney Bay the first evening where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Spinnakers, a moderately priced unpretentious beachfront restaurant. Cosmas helped with the jeep rental, and as planned on the morning of day two the agent arrived and we completed the rental agreement in the comfort of our fully equipped Villa. In addition to the jeep rental Cosmas also arranged a full day land and sea excursion. The excursion company arrived right at our front door so we didn’t have to drive into town or hook-up at a local hotel. When not touring the island in our jeep or getting groceries at the local Super J we enjoyed the privacy of our Villa including a full size pool with a deck overlooking the coast and surrounding islands. The pool area was our sanctuary. No fighting for deck chairs, loud island music, pestering local souvenir vendors and no tan lines. We cooked most of our meals enjoying an occasional evening in Rodney Bay. The Castries market on Saturday was the source of our local produce for the week and souvenirs.. Merlin our housekeeper also cooked up a tasty curried lamb dish for us after our all day excursions. What a nice treat it was to come home to the Villa and have a gourmet dinner in the comfort of our private Villa. Merlin was at the Villa every other day except Saturdays and she clea

Two single friends and I stayed at Villa Gina during the Jazz Fest in May 2009. We were speechless upon arrival at the villa (not to mention during the drive with Cosmos from the airport to St Lucia...amazing scenery and great information and tips!). The villa surpasses every picture you will see of it. We found the rooms perfect for our situation as each offered something special (the king size room is breathtaking and the two queens has a great view and space...while the third smaller room has its own sunshower making it appealing, as well). There was nothing we needed or lacked during our stay. The villa is equipped with everything you will need for your stay, including a local cell phone you can top up for easy communication between the villa and the cell, or to Cosmos, or the driver he will introduce you to. The pool was a special treat and Cosmos indicated he was going to be doing renovations in that area to include a gazebo for some shade. We regularly walked down to the resort (Smugglers Cover) and enjoyed the beach. Rodney Bay and Gros Islet are literally at 10 minute cab ride away and offer affordable dining and entertainment options. Gina and Cosmos took interest in our activities and offered to organize any excursions we were interested in. They were also very conscientious of our privacy and made themselves available, but also kept to themselves. I cannot say enough about our experience at Villa Gina. I have already recommended it to my parents and their friends and would love to come back for another visit during Carnival sometime. Thank you to Cosmos and Gina for a wonderful vacation and for making your home feel like ours. It was a very special trip. And Merlyn, the housekeeper, was a doll to have around!

When we first arrived in St. Lucia, we weren't sure what to expect. We were immediately greated by George, the villa's friendly shuttle driver, who took our bags and escorted us to his shuttle. On the way to the Villa Gina, George showed us some amazing sights and gave us a brief tour of the island. We were instantly pleased.
When we arrived at the Villa, we were stunned. We knew it was a "luxury" villa but we had no idea how luxurious it was. The tile floors, the architecture, the fine wooden design, the bedrooms, the loft, the large private pool! Everything was amazing and so comfortable; we immediately felt at home. Then, we walked out on to the balcony and we were breathless. The view from the villa is better than anywhere I have ever stayed -- resort, cottage, villa or otherwise. The cool breeze, the calm waves on the beach below, the Caribbean sea, the palm trees and mangos, the villa garden below ... we were in heaven.
As we became aquainted with the villa, we were continually impressed. The kitchen has everything you would ever need, and more. The loft entertainment area has an excellent sound system with speakers integrated into the main room so you can hear music throughout the entire place.
Staying in the Master Bedroom, we felt like royalty. The sun shower and jacuzzi were so relaxing.
The best part was walking a couple minutes from the villa down to the beach and swimming and snorkeling. We had no idea the beach was so close. We also spent entire days just swimming in the pool and taking in the view. We have never felt more relaxed and comfortable. With our rental jeep we could explore any part of the island, go on excursions, and go out for dinner. The villa is close to everything you need. Merlin the housekeeper is an excellent cook. She cooked us a magnificent Christmas dinner and always kept the villa in top shape. Her charm and warmth will never be forgotten. Ben the maintenance man was also very charming and he was always available if you needed anything.
This was the best vacation we have ever had! It had all the benefits of a major resort but without the crowds of people, the noise, the lines and other nonsense. I have travelled to more than 15 countries and St. Lucia is by far the most amazing place I have ever seen. The climate, the lush tropical rainforests, the volcano, the beaches and marine life, all wonderful, but it was the friendliness and charm of the St. Lucian people that made everything so delightful.
Thank you so much Cosmas and Gina for making everything so easy and comfortable for us!
I guess this is what heaven must look like.
See you next year!

The Villa was Great
Stevens Family, 18 July - 1 August, 2007 (Party of 5 from Surrey, England)
Villa Gina was just wonderful and the hospitality of the staff: Anisa, Merlin and Ben, was superb. The villa has loads of space with the main areas well ventilated by the passing breeze. As promised by Cosmas, George the driver was waiting for us on arrival at UVF with his minivan for the transfer to the Villa, together with a good verbal introduction to the island. The rental car, again pre-arranged with Cosmas, was delivered very conveniently to the Villa on the morning after our arrival. The views from the villa were magnificent and the pool was larger than we had expected. Having Merlin take care of any washing up in the kitchen and washing our clothes as well as servicing the villa itself was a great holiday bonus. Having Ben beavering away in the background with the grounds and pool but knowing he was always at hand to ask questions was also good. Finally, having Anisa take care of any bookings for excursions, taxis or the occasional restaurant also took any possible hassle out of the holiday experience.
The full day 'Land and Sea' excursion arranged by Anisa was definitely a highlight, as was the sunset cruise on the Brig Unicorn. We bought snorkelling gear in the Rodney Bay Mall right at the start of our holiday and took it with us on the 'Land and Sea' excursion and were glad that we did.
We didn't use the closest beach that the villa overlooks, but we did use Smuggler's Cove (the next cove to the North) and Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay. Following a change of ownership, the hotel down the hill from the villa was not allowing day visitors however we did spend an afternoon enjoying the facilties at the Windjammer resort (just South of Rodney Bay) after eating in their restaurant.
We ate at several good restaurants in Rodney Bay - Café Claude, Charthouse, Spinnakers (on the beach). The Coal Pot restaurant on the edge of Castries (we got George to drive us there and back) was very nice.
Cosmas and Gina - thank you for letting us stay at your villa. We are already talking about returning to St Lucia one day and if we do we will be in touch again.

From: Susan Deren from Stillwater, New Jersey, USA | Visited: July 2006 with Family of seven We stayed at Gina Villa this past July (2006), and it was, by far, the most wonderful vacation we have ever had. The villa was perfect, as were the owners, Cosmos and Gina. Cosmos and Gina did everything to make our vacation carefree and simply enjoyable. All of the activities they recommended, and subsequently arranged, were fabulous. Ben and Merlyn (villa staff are all-around great people) made our perfect vacation even more perfect.
We learned so much about the special island of St. Lucia, its people, and its history. The Villa was exquisitely furnished, and the views from every room were breathtaking. It had a lovely pool, and a walk to a beautiful Caribbean beach. Pigeon Island (also within walking distance) was a must see. They had great walking, beaches, history and a lovely restaurant. Cosmos, Gina and Denise (island manager) arranged a dive trip for us with one of the local dive shops. It was a day that our family of seven will never forget.
The following day, we went on a land/sea tour of the rainforest. We ate freshly picked fruit (the fruit in the states cannot compare), we had a delicious lunch at a former plantation, and enjoyed a catamaran trip back to Rodney Bay. Everyone we met in St. Lucia was welcoming and warm. We will definitely be back.
Gina Villa - and everyone affiliated with Gina Villa - were simply the best. Thanks for the greatest vacation ever!

Hi, we enjoyed very much our stay at your Villa. The villa is great. The location is beautiful. The website really reflects the place. Ste-Lucia is a beautiful island. Weather was on our side and one morning we had the chance to see La Martinique. Merlin and Ben are really welcoming. They paid attention to all details that could improve the quality of our stay. As for Anisa, (Island Manager) she was always nice.
We will definitly recommend the Villa to our friends. The stay was absolutly up to our standards. Thank you.

Dear Cosmas and Gina, Thank you for opening your Saint Lucia home to us on our recent visit. We loved Villa Gina! All went as planned and everyone was gracious and helpful. The only error we made was not allowing enough time in Saint Lucia which we will correct next time. We received your note and appreciate all that you did to make our stay an enjoyable one.

Dear Gina and Cosmas, We enjoyed our vacation at St. Lucia very much. The views from your home are lovely. We sat on the front deck many times reading books, talking to Shabeen (the dog) and her puppies, or just soaking up the beautiful scenery. We've been to the British Virgin Islands many times and to St. Croix, but St. Lucia is so lush in comparison. Rainfall must be abundant in the Windward Islands. We drove around the island, so we're familiar with many of the sights - the rainforest, Vieux Fort, the Pitons (magnificent), the beautiful beaches, etc. What a beautiful island, and the people are so friendly.
The villa is lovely, nicely furnished. The breezes were wonderful and made for good sleeping. Denyse was very helpful. The arrangements you and Gina made for tours, diving, and taxis were well coordinated by her and very efficient. Merlin is a great lady - very warm and welcoming. We didn't use her talents for cooking, but we did ask for laundry assistance. She does her very best to please your guests. Ben is a very nice gentleman and was eager to help when we needed information about the island, directions to the beach, or just wanted to talk. He was always on the job but out of sight unless needed.
You have a great staff at Villa Gina, and we enjoyed meeting them and spending time in your part of the world.

This was our first time in St. Lucia and we could have not asked for a better place to stay than The Villa Gina. The home is beautifully built with breath taking views from each balcony as well as the pool area. The open air rain showers were an absolute perfect touch. The dining area created an extremely romantic setting for dinner and the privacy was second to none. The location was ideal in proximity to restaurants and other nightlife in the Rodney Bay area. The Villa Gina definitely lived up to our expectations and we will look forward to going back to St. Lucia and the beautiful Villa Gina.
